Kansas City, Mo. – On April 18-20, 2018, the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance will host Elevate, a virtual conference on equity. Elevate, sponsored by American Express, is designed to build competency in diversity, equity, and inclusion. It is packed full of resources and skill-building activities: live keynotes, on-demand webinars, virtual networking opportunities, online simulation, DEI resource library, and more.
“An equity lens is no longer an afterthought,” says Richard Brown, Vice President of American Express Philanthropy. “It is a business imperative. If you only invest in one training this year, this is the one!”
Elevate attendees have the opportunity to earn a digital badge that can be shared via LinkedIn and other social media, as well as credit toward the Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credential. Thanks to underwriting from American Express, the registration fee is only $50 for individuals and $40 each for groups of three or more. Social-impact leaders have access to 20 nationally-recognized speakers and will have the opportunity to develop a personalized equity plan during the 3-day conference.
Elevate is a program of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance and will be delivered through a robust online conference platform that mimics that of an in-person event. The framework for the conference was developed in conjunction with a task force of professionals in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Learn more about Elevate at www.equityconference.org
