The Association of Certified Nonprofit Professionals is currently accepting resumes for the Chair of the Membership Committee. The Membership Committee is the voice of the membership of the Association of CNPs. It is charged with enhancing the member’s experience, enhancing membership value and increasing membership.

Membership Committee Chair Job Description
(Time Commitment: 4-6 hours/month)

  • Chair of Membership Committee for the Association of CNPs;
  • Guide committee in recommending, developing and implementing activities to recruit and retain membership;
  • Help maintain or direct information that needs to go on the Association membership website;
  • Identify and promote the value and benefits of membership and identify additional benefits in the Association;
  • Act as a liaison between the Membership Committee, Association Executive Committee and the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance staff to report activity and outcomes in membership recruitment and retention.

About the Association of CNPs

Purpose: The purpose of this association is to support the programs, operations, and future development of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Program and its Certified Nonprofit Professionals (CNPs) on a national level. The association will strengthen relationships among CNPs of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance program, current students, and private and nonprofit sector leaders.

Vision: The Association of Certified Nonprofit Professionals will be an engaging and mutually beneficial lifetime link between the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance and its community of Certified Nonprofit Professionals.

Mission: To create and sustain opportunities for Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Certified Nonprofit Professionals and contribute to the success of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance program on a national level.
