Nonprofit Human Resources: Intergenerational Insights

Many organizations today are managing three different generations of workers — baby boomers (born 1946 to 1964), Gen Xer’s (born 1965 to 1980) and millennial’s (born 1981 to 2000). Each group has its defining characteristics, experiences, values and attitudes about work. By 2020, it is said that millennial’s will form 50% of the global workforce. This article suggests a few ideas on how to create a positive and respectful work culture among the different generations.
