We partner with campus-based student organizations to offer the Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credential as a benefit of membership.

Our Partners

The Nonprofit Leadership Alliance knows the skills that hiring managers want to find. We are proud to partner with these organizations to offer our nonprofit management certification program. Like us, these groups value service and leadership training in preparing college students for their future careers.

Alpha Phi Omega logo

Alpha Phi Omega (APO) prepares campus and community leaders through service. The three principles of membership are Leadership, Friendship and Service. APO members meet the Volunteer Service requirement through participation in regular chapter activities. Attendance at the bi-annual National APO Convention meets the Leadership Development requirement. APO members receive a discount for CNP enrollment.

AmeriCorps NCCC members serve directly with nonprofit organizations to tackle our nation’s most pressing challenges. More than 270,000 members and volunteers serve across the country annually. AmeriCorps NCCC members and alumni meet both the Volunteer Service and Professional Experience requirements through their year of service. AmeriCorps NCCC members receive a discount for CNP enrollment.

Fair Trade Campaigns (FTC), Colleges and Universities, is a powerful grassroots movement mobilizing consumers and advocates across US campuses to increase the availability of Fair Trade products. These campaigns are a catalyst for change and create local commitment toward sustainability and social justice. Fair Trade Campaigns Campus Leaders meet both the Volunteer Service and Professional Experience requirements through one year of service as a campus campaign leader. FTC members receive a discount for CNP enrollment.

Scholarships Available!

What does the Service Organization Track cost?

All students who are in good standing with their partner membership organization pay a fee of $300. This includes access to the independent study guide, CNP Central, Career L!FT and the CNP exam. CNPs will also receive the CNP digital badge and blockchain certificate. *Note: Americorps NCCC members receive a discount for CNP enrollment.

Our portal for all things related to earning the CNP. This one-stop hub combines announcements, resources, discussion groups, blogs and your credential profile — all in one convenient location.

Mentor Match

Pair up with one of our CNPs working in the social sector. Ask questions you aren’t sure who to ask. Practice interview skills. Get advice on preparing your resume or building your LinkedIn profile. Our alumni are the most valuable asset of our entire network. Tap into their know-how.

ELEVATE

Our virtual conference for social sector leaders. We host the three-day conference on the Leaderosity platform every winter. Participants learn from national thought leaders, network with changemakers and access a wealth of digital resources.
